** Ethernet First Mile Services (EFM) use standard copper telephone cables to deliver a high quality business service. Because of the speed and quality required, it is not enough to deliver this service over one phone line – more than one needs to be used. As you move further away from the Telstra exchange, more wires are needed to deliver the same quality of service. The most that we will use is 8 wires (4 pairs) to deliver this service. RWTS will do our best to provide you with a service qualification indicating the number of copper pairs (wires) required to deliver 10MB speed to your location. From time to time the quality of the copper in a given area or distance from the exchange can affect the final speed delivered.
